Quality of Life GRT defeated

The Quality of Life GRT has been defeated in the November 6, 2012 General Election. The results are: FOR, 6,615 (36.45%); AGAINST, 11,533 (63.55%), according to the Otero County Clerk's web site.

Early voting started October 9; more information about when and where you can vote is at the Otero County Clerk web site. The Clerk also has sample ballots. The Quality of Life question is easy to find at the upper right of the front page of the ballot. Please invest in Otero County by voting "For" the Quality of Life question.
